HISTORY OF USE
Celox™ is being used by a very diverse range of people; from navy seal medics, police and emergency responders through workplace first aid, retail first aid, sports first aid, to hospitals, and more recently in heart surgery.
It has been available for the treatment of emergency bleeding since October 2006. During this time we have had no reports of any clinical problems. We get many emails praising the product and many of these have thanked Celox™ for saving a life. It’s a great feeling to know we are really helping. You’ll find links to some of these reports to the right of this page. They are good reading.
There are a number of published papers on Celox™. These include:
The US Marines lethal wound model designed to simulate a major battlefield wound with massive arterial damage as published in the Journal Academic Emergency Medicine Jan 08, Pages 74-81.
